Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed and industry supported scheme to help protect organisations against a range of cyber attack risks. Cyber Essentials plus is the highest level of certification offered under the scheme, and our accreditation includes rigorous testing of Alert Cascade’s cyber security systems, including vulnerability tests by external cyber security experts.

Our level 2 accreditation means that following assessment, we’re recognised as going the extra mile to make sure that disabled people get a fair chance.
The Financial Services Qualification Scheme (FSQS) is a community of banks, building societies, and investment services, collaborating to agree a single standard for supplier information and risk management. FSQS ensures a consistent approach is taken to key risk areas including cyber security, data privacy, business continuity, financial crime, conduct risk, financial, legal, and corporate responsibility.
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is the UK’s independent authority responsible for upholding information rights as the regulator for data protection laws, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals. As part of our General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act compliance, Alert Cascade are registered on the ICO’s public register of UK Data Controllers.
ISO 27001 is an international standard for the management of information security, recognised worldwide as proof that we are managing our information security risks in line with global best practices. Alert Cascade has been accredited to this standard since 2016, and continues to use the ISO 27001 framework to manage information security by addressing people, processes, and technology.
ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management, with requirements to define how we establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve our Quality Management System. Our accreditation means that we’ve demonstrated we have put in placed effective processes and staff training to deliver quality products and services, and we actively look for opportunities to improve.
The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the actual cost of living, and it is voluntarily paid by over 15,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs. As an accredited Living Wage Employer, we’ve made a binding commitment to pay the real Living Wage to everyone aged 18 and older, and to ensure our supply chain does the same.
We’re members of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, and are signatories to their Business SMS Code of Conduct. Working directly alongside UK and international networks, we have early access to telecoms changes globally, as well as a direct integration into the SMS SenderID Protection Registry, an industry project centred on reducing SMS fraud, backed by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre.
The NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit allows organisations to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 security standards. Because of our extensive work with NHS organisations, we use this toolkit to provide assurance that we’re practicing good data security and that personal information is handled correctly. We’re currently rated as “Standards exceeded”.
Trust in Enterprise Messaging (TEM) is a global industry programme for enterprise messaging providers, designed to tackle fraud (spoofing, and smishing) through industry collaboration. It sets out best practice for all organisations operating within the business SMS sector, and is based on 10 principles offering detailed guidance on commercial, procedural, and technical requirements.
